Our Cassi-Vest is the second life and part of a zero-waste upcycling effort of our Cassidy convertible shirt (the other parts of the shirt went upcycled into our Madicass dress). The sleeves, collar, and part of the placket were taken-out (and put into the Madicass dress), revealing a sleeveless shirt top accented with indigenous textile at the collar, which created - voila! - our Cassi-Vest that you can wear on its own for warmer months, or layered as a vest over tees or turtlenecks during colder months. How will you wear it?
• Collared, sleeveless, button-front top/vest with contrast collar
• Self: 62% cotton, 35% nylon, 3% spandex; contrast: 100% cotton
• Self: Reclaimed poplin fabric; contrast: Indigenous wax print African textile
• Made in China but upcycled in the USA
• Hand wash and dry flat, or pofessional wet clean (more eco-friendly) or dry-clean
